My system has 138 gallons of calculated actual water volume (display tank plus sump) and I am seeking to be able to lower the temperature up to 4 degrees. Would this unit do that?

Also, compared to a good quiet dc pump and protein skimmer, how noisy is this unit? Wife won't tolerate a noisy system
