I have several of these pumps and I love them for the few months they work until the little rectangle silicone piece that sits on the propeller wears out. I'm tired of buying a new pump just for this piece.
I have tried repairing them with silicone but it doesn't last long.
I have contacted Jebao several times and never got a reply.
Does anyone know where I can get these or if there's a DYI fix for it?

Thanks

Jebao are known for being cheap and it is impossible to contact them. I would suggest going to the DIY forum or buying a new pump.

I'm working on a solution to save these pumps. I won't know for a few days if it's going to work. Silly that they don't offer a rebuild package. These rubber pieces will never last much more than a year.

Hi there,

The solution I used was to build out the rubber piece with Corallife epoxy, it works just fine and it fixed the problem for me... it’s been over two years when I fixed it and it’s working just fine. The key is to make it exactly the same size as the rubber part. So I used the rubber piece from the other side as my temple.

I hope the pictures help.

that works too.

I ended up finding someone with a 3D printer that made new plastic ones. He has the file now. Can't remember his name atm but he is on here with a huge 3d printing thread. I was going to make a new thread with the info but never got to it. I'll get it done soon.

Hey @roland34 ,

You just made my Day,

My CP40 has been sitting in a bin for few months.
I fixed it a few times with BONDIC which is a UV Curing Glue. Then Filed it down with Diamond file.
Sure it worked, but it always wore out after a few months of running.
Pain to keep Redoing.
and my Rubber cap was getting Paper Thin.

I just tried your 3D print version of the Rubber CAP.
Works like a charm, and if it wears out, Quick Replacements easy to make.

MY CP-40 is working Again.

BIG THANKS!!
