I have had this damsel in qt for 4 days it ate great the first day and now has totally stopped eating. I am new to the fish treating and quarantining part of reef keeping so go easy on me. I really can't see anything wrong with it.
Ignore the extra food in the tank I tried several different things this morning. Doing a water change right now

Update. Any help is appreciated. One white dot next to gills and a kinda white patch on the bottom of the fish.

Welcome to Reef2Reef!

Have you medicated it with anything yet?
Can you measure the ammonia?
Does it seem to be breathing faster than normal?

When a fish stops feeding, that is a sure sign of an acute issue - usually a disease or water quality problem.

Ammonia was 0 and I had started with prazipro on the second day in the tank but the fish died last night. It was breathing a little faster than normal I think.

Sorry to hear, that sure came on fast. If it wasn't a water issue, it may have been velvet. Often with that, all you see is rapid breathing, not feeding and then death in two to three days....

Prazi pro will curb appetite and reduce saturated oxygen slightly
Increase aeration with air stone and assure ammonia is not elevated
