I have a friend who has great experience with SPS. But his JF Jolt has been dramatically slower than everything else. I recently got a Jolt frag and learned of his slow growth issues after I got it.

Just wondering if this is normal for this particular coral to be a slow grower or is this just an anomily?

Do you have any pics from when you got it to now?

Medium to slow for me. I have yet to see any red polyps though, not sure what you need to do to get those... I'm hoping once it really starts to turn into a little colony those will show up?

Here's my original frag from last Christmas 12/2019 (center frag):

Mine has been slow but I’ve had so many system fluctuations for various reasons I’m just glad it’s still alive ... here’s a photo of two year progresssion.
