Made a little progress on the equipment panel and put together a layout that should work. Now I just have to make all of the cutouts. The clamps kept everything together so I could see how it will look once finished. I’ll mount a couple noctua fans that’ll run off of the eb832 to keep the power supplies cool, thanks for the suggestion @neon_reefer !

If you need help with the cutouts, let me know, we can find a cool day and work on it... it was 107 in my garage today... I cant wait till this crazy heat goes away... makes me want to move to ventura county,,,, its 1 hour away, but 20 degrees cooler ALL THE TIME!!!

Thanks, I really appreciate the offer and it would probably be a lot easier, but I would like to try it old school. Plus I really need to get this tank rolling again.

One more cutout for the second EB8 and a few access holes and I can put this thing together. Well, after sanding and mounting some power brick brackets on the inside panel.

All access holes are cut, just need to mount a couple printed brackets for power supplies and I can put it together and get it hung. It’s not perfect, but what do you expect from using hand tools?

man, I need to make friends with a good welder lol. looks solid!
Yeah, find someone who does aluminum, it looks much better as a finished stand. But again, I had three different size stock bars for this stand. If I was starting over, I would do 8020 in a heartbeat.

Looks fantastic for only using hand tools. Nice work!

Probably not, it’s going in a closet and it’ll be pretty dry, but maybe I can put a coat of Odie’s on it?
I'd do something to protect the wood; Odies is probably the easiest.

Odie’s oil on lighter wood isn’t the best option, but this will be mounted on a wall behind coats and jackets, so it’s good enough, right?
I’ll add this, there will be very little moisture in this closet as the ATO reservoir is sealed except for a small opening.
