The grain looks really nice in the picture! Agreed regarding the light wood. totally fine! plain would've been fine too! sorry for shooting off my mouth! I've just finished staining and polyurethaning a bunch of wood so its on my mind.

It’s all good, I love the look of natural wood.

Okay, it’s mounted to the wall and ready to go. After I get everything wired up, I’ll mount the fans on the left side blowing across the power supplies mounted in the interior panel. Eventually I’m going to put an exhaust fan in the ceiling that will turn on during the day or if it gets too warm in the closet.

The nano build is pretty much complete besides a few minor things to tidy up. Going to throw in some substrate sauce today and a piece of live rock to get it going. The lower 10g will house a single piece of live rock with some crocea clams, a single mangrove, along with some sea grass. The 25g will predominantly be a goni-garden with a few choose euphyllias.

Any ideas on your rock scape? with a lagoon you can make a bunch of inlets and branches to make space for flow as well as sps growth. Also any plans for mangroves? I'll have to keep an eye on this build. Looks like it could turn into an amazing creation!

I have a few pieces that I’m going to space out, so each one will be it’s own bommie with open channels in between. Pretty much what I’m going to do with the 90g as well.

The basic structures are in place, just need to bond them together, then arrange them. Plus, I may have a large piece of Fiji rock from the nano system that may not fit in the new system, so it may find its way in here? I was holding a Kessil a80 in my hand while I’ll was taking these pictures. Fun!

This is what I came up with, but I’m not sure about the back left corner, that’s the only spot I need to work on. Just need to arrange the branch rock a little better.

Looking awesome!
You know those rock won't even be visible in a year :) Loving the open space John!

Quanta bars are all mounted and ready to go. It’s funny how much darker these pics turn out, even with filters, but in person it’s not that dim or deep blue. I still need to clean the glass, but I’ll move a few corals in tonight.

Well the first part of the move got underway today. I managed to move the apex from the garage temp tank back to the display. I didn’t get the cables in order, but everything is connected and has power. I did manage to move some corals in, but need to do some hacking tomorrow, plus catch all of the fish. I ordered extension cables for the gyres, which will make disconnecting them a little easier, without pulling the cables through the access holes in the wall. I also decided to only use one side on each pump so I can fit them on the back wall with the MP40’s.
Almost there……
