A massive shout out to Tony @neon_reefer for lending me his mad cnc skills in milling out the magnets holes and handles for these walnut panels. Now I just need to finish them and move on to the canopy facade. Finally, the vision from my very first post on this thread is coming to life! Thanks Tony!

Wow, That came out great! I really like how you recessed them into the frame of the stand.
Thanks! When I designed the stand I had this in mind, but wasn’t sure what I was going to use as a panel. I just wished I paid attention to what the fabricator did with the top tabs. I think he left his ruler in the drawer and eyeballed the tabs on the top, because they are all off by either 1/8” to 3/16” from the bottom bars. I had to buy bigger magnets for the top to offset them as much as I could. Time to order some Odies to finish them.

I huge shout out to Tony @neon_reefer for designing these awesome bar mounts for my Quanta bars. A combo of 3D print/carbon fiber. I still need to disassemble the canopy and get all of the hardware in place, then I can move on to putting this thing back together.

Lets get that tank going!!! we have to print some hinges for the shade panels.. 1/4" walnut plywood, with aluminium reinforcement strips to keep the panels from bowing...

I want to pick up a few more pieces of live rock from Unique, either Australian or Solomon Island, whatever they have left will work. Once we get the lighting mounts finished, then I can move to phase 20 of the reboot.

Oh the glory of fresh sand and saltwater! Hopefully I’ll have some live rock in there in a couple days? Followed by some substrate sauce and Dr Tim’s ammonia.
Oh yeah, Let there be life! Getting close, can't wait to see it all lit up with some rock. Great work man, really coming together clean
