Kids gonna love it. Have to stay in the warehouse for now since we're getting back from Kona on the 24th. Now let's see what we can do about the new tank... Maybe clear out some Aips in the 40 while I'm at it.

That’s some nice rock!
Really old Marshall Islands and Fiji rocks. One of the best purchases in my reefing career, alongside Tampa Bay Saltwater rocks. $70 for about 50-60lb from a local who had it dried out in his garage for 5 yr.

What is it?
Stomatella. Great clean up crew. Easily reproduce in home aquariums. You never see them for sale. Pretty much have to get them as hitchhikers or from another hobbyist if you want some.

Correct! Which has me wondering, wherever did this guy come from? I haven't added anything to the tank in a while (Macros back in Sept). And it is sizeable, so maybe it just came in as a tiny snail and grew up. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ only things I don't dip are macros, clams and nems.

Usually when I find them at Petco they're little guys. It could have come in easily as an egg on your macros.

I found a few tiny ones at lfs in a frag tank. I asked if I can grab them and owner said sure. They were very tiny so it probably hitched in and you never seen it.

Oh, ok. Couldn't see the flat shell, so it looked like some type of slug or something.

@Slocke you bought an underwater case for your phone to take pics while snorkeling/diving, right? Which one was it and what did you think? @Stang67 do you have an underwater phone case? I recall you were going with a real deal camera.

I use a kayaking phone bag. My recommendation, leave some air inside or the touch screen won't work.

Ask me how I know. :face-with-rolling-eyes:
