Can you explain how you did the rock wall cover a little more? You said the back is a dvd case right?

I have a 9g Fluval Flex that I kind of want to set up as a nano and I like the rock wall idea.

I basically took 2 pieces of plastic, (I used the DVD case cause it was just something I had laying around) measured them out to fit the overflow.
I glued crushed up pieces of carabsea rock to them then I lightly filled any cracks or small gaps with glue and then crushed rock to powder and sprinkled it over the glue.
For The bottom half of each piece I made sure the rock stuck out a bit and was as flat as possible so it would just rest on the tank bottom and but up to the glass
The pieces are not actually glued to the overflow and they are fully removable.

That’s what I was picturing but was confused about the dvd case coming into it lol - good job getting it supported so it’s standing up straight. It looks like it’s glued on

Sadly i abandoned this tank and moved it to a 7.4g lifeguard
The other was so tight for space it was a extreme hassle to clean the glass
I should have updated the build thread, here is the progress so far.
