Mine showed spawning behavior for almost a year before actually laying a clutch. Hope all the misfits end up with a breeding pair of their own. Its amazing to see them tirelessly slave over what appears to be a squeaky clean nesting spot. Their lips turn white from their ocd cleaning. Awesome feeling watching the real deal unfold.
When I had anemone island the male wouldn’t leave a spot and always appeared to be rubbing the rock. Female always came by would rub once and leave. Male stayed his post. Never got a view through the men’s but clowns had white lips. I wounded now

Updated fish list in first post.

Past few weeks have been busy moving forward with the tank after removing a lot of fish. Got the problem out and saved most fish rehoming.

TSM Aquatics is amazing store to have as LFS. Fish eat everything and full qt before leaving. What goes on behind the scenes for health of fish is beyond OCD and love.Any rare or delicate fish I highly recommend.

Potters eats anything and everything and swims nonstop like a nut. Been a great 3 weeks. Haven’t been able to get a picture yet

Yesterday I went to look at two small female Madagascar flashers. One didn’t have best colors and one was in transition. Almost walked away but brought home the male after TSM gave a price break for the let down. it’s s little stressed to get good picture being released this morning before lights on in display.

The tanks next to the Madagascar flasher had Vivien leopards. I looked at the Vivien’s in QT and passed on them. The QT is darker and no tank lights so the fish didn’t look that good.
After seeing the little girls in more light my heart melted. Soft pink with pearl white. Yup you guessed it she came home with me.

Vivien Never been more excited for a fish to get male colors but don’t wait my baby girl to grow up lol

Very nice, I have a pink streak wrasse on order for the twins, ... snuck a black clown goby in today! :)
Never herd of a black clown goby. Love the yellow and greens though. One day I would like a pair or maybe a trio.

I haven't been this excited about additions that weren't my own In quite a while...Two beauties for sure! Glad things are finally going the way you want them! Grats bro!
It was the bro hug from you! From that moment things changed.

Thanks for all the help and mostly reassuring my mind while keeping me in track. It was you that pushed for the potters and woke me up to whole new world with leopards.
I see a Chaoti in the future

I need a FTS for reference. Got rid of bta island?
I will work on an updated FTS. Yes anemone island is gone along with 19 pulse BTA’s. I have two BTA on a rock for the clowns still. I rescaped left side and need to do the right side where BTA’s are. The BTA’s will be removed at that time and replaced with something that doesn’t split every couple months.
It’s been along time for this to take place but covid put a hold on it. The store I needed was **** down for 5 months

I am about number four on the Chaoti waiting list at my lfs, I can wait! :)
I am so excited for you. I can’t wait to give one a try. I read such bad things about keeping leopards but seeing it’s not much different then others.

Think about feeding a mandarin, be pod rich, let it be able to graze all day. :)

3 weeks after I added the potters I lost my mandarin. Everyday I watched the Mandarin eating and to make sure he stayed fat. Ever 2-3 seconds it ate. Next day wasn’t swimming or eating but fat and died in hours. Makes me think if it starved even though it wasn’t visible. Leopards eat more pods then then mandarin and eat more frozen then tangs. I won’t be trying anymore mandarins in my system. Don’t think it can support one anymore. Also want to keep Mandarins in pairs next

@Crabby48 looking back in my build thread I noticed you subbed to my build thread. Well I’m returning the favor and look forward to checking this out.
Thanks for stopping. I struggle keeping up with threads with life. Your thread slipped from watched threads but I do remember your build. I will stop in for a quick catchup. Hope the reef is doing well.
