Whats the verdict on the long nose hawk fish. Does it play nice with smaller fish and inverts? Its on my want list.
Leaves cleaner and blood shrimp alone. I tried a bunch of small peppermint shrimp for aiptasia and never saw them again after adding. My guess the LNH had lunch. When I added 1 1/2” Meleagris leopard the LNH tried to chase it for a few days and gave up. It’s been a week and once in awhile LNH will chase the Vivien leopard 2 1/4” but she is relaxed. LNH isn’t fast enough to grab her but he does go for a real bite and not a warning.
I would wait and add LNH after small fish. Keep LNH small when you get one is my thought

Little Meleagris didn’t like big Potters in her area. She nudged the potter and circled him at warp speed with a couple more nudges. Potters never flinched just carried on. Little leopard girls are the most fearless fish I have seen. Love the things that go on in tanks.

In person the iridescent blue spots on the Potters wash out the orange. Getting a picture is almost impossible. On top of that it doesn’t like my fat head up against the glass never mind a phone.
Here is what I got after many attempts

Gorgous. They never stop moving. Almost impossible to get a decent shot. I think you did well

Just an amazing shot
Thank you and thank you. They don’t ever stop moving.
The clowns are easier. Just need to hit the button between them bouncing up and down 1-2”.

Nice, love that second pic. :)
Thanks second pic was my favorite of them too.

So tough to get all the colors in 1 snap under filters/lenses for blue.

They all came out solid don. That clown was the first smile i had today. Cheers
Without the filter potters blue washes out the fish. Each picture gets little better. Biggest problem is they are freaked by the phone and me still. They are slowly getting better.

Your pictures look great. What filters and phone/app do you use? I am still struggling with getting anything remotely close to what they actually look like.

Thank you. I normally don’t use filters but a couple pictures I used orange glasses in front of the camera
Normally I use an app for I phone and maybe android called aquarium cam. Think it cost $3. App has a auto filter button that I use. To me it is the best balance lens filter to much for me.

My file fish is holding its own
I picked one up today. Maybe 1” at most. Thought it was dead in bag but turns out it was alive. I have it in a acclimation box to see if it recovers. It was fully qt’ed and look good at the store.

They act really weird. They float in the current making them look dead.
