That was my thought but never thought about a dollar store basket to house them in. I was thinking using my acclimation box.


My LFS doesn’t want them because he has to many high end anemones now so if I can catch some and you make a few dollars I’m ok with it.

Really. Wouldn’t have guessed 20 would be high for them. Wait all the splits but the last one was with no testable nitrates. Wonder if I keep hitting their threshold
I will have to look in to this

I found 2 so far. And have no reason to believe the berghias have survived the original feast/famine time between when they were all wiped out and now. Annoying buggers.

Catch a few when you go to NY.

Honestly I think foe everyone I kill I find one or two more in a few days. I think I may let them go. I only see 4-6 so didn’t want to buy berghias and then have them die. IDK

PO4 .06 from .08
NO3 15-20 from 20-25
I did 20% water change to lower NO3 to see if the fuge can keep up

A few pics and a mostly FTS. The star lounging while getting sun tan on the return cracked me up

over the weekend I got the trident reading Close to my test kits. Time will tell if I got the problem resolved. Not sure what the problem was but I’m sure it was me
ALK Hanna 8.3 - 8.4 Trident avg 7.7
Cal salert 465 trident 467
Mag reagent leaked so that I couldn’t test. Normally I test 1465 - 1470 Trident 1487

I did 20% water change to lower NO3 to see if the fuge can keep up
