That cleared it up thanks. I promise when I see you at a store one day you don’t need to have the speech
I wasn’t sure if they do it alone and down the drain or Netflix and chill

I assume if you don’t see it you won’t know if it was them

How long does it last?

It can last a bit. Honestly, it is amazing how much a tiny snail puts out. I swear my tank is Rated X for snails. I have dozens of new eggs every day. I guess that means they are healthy at least.

I believe fish or inverts that will bond and or spawn should be together in our reefs. Are you starting to have a problem of to many snails?

And they're a week early, Valentine's Day isn't for another week, or so I was kindly reminded today ;)

Must be teenagers

Not at all. Someone is eating them I suppose. The only ones that tend to live are the few that make it back into the filter chambers. I have a few baby Trochus living there. Which is fine with me.

Yesterday I was able to look at my tank in the day light with tank lights. What I noticed was partials floating making water look cloudy. I think most of not all is micro bubbles floating to the surface. I can’t see any bubbles in my return pump chamber but turned off skimmer for a few hours. The skimmer puts a lot of bubbles in the sump so thought maybe it was getting in the display.
I noticed spending the day around the tank that one VCA random flow generated would suck air once in awhile so I lowered it in the water.

This morning the tank still looks maybe a tiny bit better or the same. I’m questioning my flow with the VFG on the Red Sea. I’m thinking that they may be sucking waste in the educator and out the nozzle when debris floats up to the return.

Tank water looks clean in a white 5 gallon pale so I no it’s not that.

Fish,Nem and I are grumpy but doing good

Also I finally went from a newb to a reefing newb.
The other night I was in bed and realized I didn’t fill the top of container. Went down to do it and put a couple gallons of water in a bucket to top it off and didn’t shut the valve all the way. It dropped 30 gallons of RODI on the floor. I know better to check.

Tank and I will be looking for a home if it happens again

R2R should have badges for spills

lol!!

FWIW:
My snails do the same thing as @NY_Caveman . Spawning and just right it out.

Love the clowns... :)

@Victoria M
Hope your on the mend. Are you doing okay?
Yes! A badge for having suffered a large water spill would be hilarious!
Yes, I am ok. Still very day by day. Sigh.

@Why-Me and Katrina71 here is your pic. It was under moon light so it’s looks bad even on my phone.

Nem is shrunken for the night but the clown deals with it.

So basically a participation trophy badge?
LOL sounds good to me...does it change colors each time you spill? Or have a counter?
Maybe change colors like led strip lights and have a counter

lol!!
