Over the weekend took a trip to vist a few great friends @RichtheReefer21 let me crash at his house. Tank looks great! Big difference from a frag tank. Was greeted by @Raege wearing his reef attire and we all headed to vist @Scurvy. I’m still blown away seeing scurvy’s system in person. All the wrasse and SPS. Now I have a goal. We headed to vist @Fudsey for pizza and reefing. Beautiful tank with some big colony’s. Fuds took us down to the dungeon to show us his big Cheeto ball and sump. Love the basement sump idea after seeing one in person. Trip was much needed and I thank you all for inviting me in your homes.

Now for some pictures
I never get a pick of this guy. He comes out grabs food and takes off to his cave. Always dark or can’t focus fast enough.

Always perched in the front left corner looking like a stud.

Daddy when are you going to get more snails? We don’t build our home with empties. Now we are stealing egg crate with frags

Sounds like a fun time.. Wish there were more friendly reefers in my area, I have tried to make a few local friends but everyone is so standoffish these days :( back when I started in the hobby anyone you met that was into reefing was an automatic friend for life.. lol. This was pre internet days so you actually had to talk face to face with people ( what a interesting concept ;)). I made so many friends that were incredibly passionate about the hobby.

Unfortunately they are a few hour drive but well worth the trip.
It’s crazy how the internet change face to face interaction. I do have a couple people I see at the fish store that are a good time to talk with but that is about it

I refer you to your NSFW reply to me having nothing lol u got something for sure lol

Added more rock to give more swim throughs for fish. Not very happy with how it looks but with some tweaking it will be ok.
Moved sand from the back of the tank to front and stirred up the rest.

Picked up Anemone crab since the last one disappeared. Female clown checked it out and it won her approval. Male clown seemed very interested in the crab but the female keeps pushing him away. She knows best when it comes to her man and BTA. BTA closed up some with the crab and when I stirred up the sand bed.Tomorrow BTA should be back to normal and by the end of the week they will all probably split lol.

This morning I met a local reefer to rescue 6 Nudis. Hopefully they will knock back the Aip.

Lineatus has been doing good after the injury and slowly using his tail more. The good from the injury is he know longer is bullying the pintail and has been patient with the new radiant in his area. Its been a week and fish seem happy and more peaceful.
Radiant won’t hold still and is still camera shy

I know I’m a bit late, I was away but that’s a great picture!

I love GSP, it’s just so, well green and ‘wavy’ but I just dare not put any in my new tank in case it goes ‘rampant’!

I also love how green and wavy GSP is. The depth of your new tank you would need a snorkel to remove GSP for a biweekly trim. I wouldn’t risk it it a system that size
