I recently got this hammer coral from a guy. Does it look like its unhealthy?

Could be light difference. Could be flow difference. Could be salinity, PH, or alkalinity difference.
Doesn't look like anything troubling though.

I would start off slow. I would put it at the bottom of the tank with low to medium flow. Where it would get less light to get it used to your lighting. just in case you have a controller attached to your light. Give it some time to acclimate to your tank.
