K1 Kalk Stirrer Noise

I recently installed a brand new Avast K1 kalk stirrer and it is making a lot of noise. It is so loud that I can hear it in any room on the first floor of my house, even with the stand doors shut. It is a combination of a humming/clicking/grinding noise. Is that normal? Anything I can do to quiet it down? Thanks!

Most definitely not normal. Every now and then the stir bar gets jolted during shipping and knocks out the gears in the motor which will cause this to happen. Email us your info to support@ avastmarine.com and we will be happy to take care of you.
