I can’t seem to fit the K7 Mini mount base around the rim on my tank and didn’t see the specification anywhere mentioning that it was only usable on rimless. Am I missing something / does anyone have any tips to get it mounted?

What size tank? You could cut off A portion of the rim in that specific spot to make it fit. I had to do that to mount some Fluval lights on my 15 gallon.

Wow, I didn't notice the mount. Nice and slim for a rimless but I have a feeling a lot of these will go on Aqueon/Top Fin/Marineland type tanks and cutting the rim really isn't recommended.

Someone needs to 3D print an adapter that will mount on a rimmed tank and then allow the arm to be mounted onto the adapter.

I did notice this as well @Projects with Sam i might need to send you some specs of the arm mount bracket tank side. Also i have him working on a light shade for the mini as well that i will be testing out. Here is the design concept. Once we get sizing down @Projects with Sam will be producing these for the lights for purchase just a heads up.

Sweeeet is the shade just to make it look cleaner / prevent light spill?
