Kamal’s IM Nuvo 20 Reef

Hi guys.
Creating this thread to log the progress of my IM 20 reef.
Hopefully you guys can help me out when I need help 
Background: I have had fish tank since I was little kid. I have kept all types, my last reef tank as a 120 gal, it did ok. But not has nice as my old 29 gal reef.

Currently the 120 is set up as an planted tank with discus.

Here is what I have so far:

• IM Nuvo 20 From BRS
• Noopsyche K7 Pro LED
• Cobalt Aquatics 31003 Neo-Therm Heater
• Jebao OW-10 Wavemaker
• Test kits
• Seachem Matrix
• CaribSea Aquatics Life Rock 20Ib
• RO/DI Unit
• Red Sea Coral Pro salt
• In tank media backet

Nope, i plan to use the Old sand i had in my 120 gal reef.
forgot which type it was

i received the TANK from BRS.

Man it was packed tight..
looks good, i will water test tonight

i see that IM has updated the screen, MUCH better then the older version...

see how the edge is rounded for the screen... Plus the net is barely visible...

FW tanks are EASY....
for planted thank the first 5 months i kept a good eye on the prams..

but now it almost NO work..
feed 2 times a day... WC 1 time a week.

and the WC is SO easy...
you should try it....

But i am seriously needing to trim the moss and some of the other plants at the moment and needs a top off

I dont have any exciting fish in mine right now theres a pair of rams, a lot of guppies, a pair of plecos and rcs. Theres a whiptail catfish i never see too. I havent restocked as fish died of old age. Tank is going on almost a decade.

Flush kit is a great idea. Excellent way to extend the life of your DI cartridge. Your build is looking to be a good one!

testing my ATO system..

because the tank will be in my home office, i cannot take any chances.

so i am testing the ATO in the basement.

hopefully it works well and then we can get the tank wet ..

Mixed reef for sure...
1 ClownFish for the kids.. nothing else is planned yet..
