Hello,
I am setting up a Neptune DOS for auto water changes. My SW container (brute) is in my basement directly below my tank. How do I secure the tube in/near the bottom of the can? Is there a weighted “head” I can attach to 1/4” tubing to keep it at the bottom? Any help or suggestions is appreciated.

SOmetimes I use a rock with a hole in it and loop the tubing through the hole 2 or 3 times. Alternately, A rigid pice of tubing can be used. Home improvement stores usually have rigid PEX tubing that can be stuck to the end of your flexable tubing or your flexable tubing can be inserted all the way threough the rigid tubing just to keep in straight inside your container.

Great suggestions...thank you for the suggestions! Sorry this posted as an "emergency" I have no idea why that prefix was selected, nor now how to remove it.

I just drop about 5 feet of tubing in the bottom of the bin and and as it is primed and full of water it sinks you can get airline suction cups and use them to attach the line to your bin bottom also considered a large airstone you would want to add it before calibration.

I use a length of rigid airline tubing. No worries - it's always at the exact same place, ~ 1/2" off the bottom
