Hi-
I'm setting up my first aquarium and while not trying to go cheap on equipment, I am not going for top end tech atm.
I do love the look of kessils tho.

Anyways, I have come across 2 separate deals:

1. N=2 360WE- New- 315$/light = 630
2. n=1 AP700 549$

My tank: 48"Lx18"wx24tall - has a center brace (tank was free ;)

I would like to have a mixed reef with well placed SPS (Ponape Birdsnest, Blye stylo, Green Birdsnest)

360 WE...I would have to add 2 goosenecks +~70$ adding a controller +99
AP700- already WiFi (with an apparently buggy app?) and would add mounting arm set ~158$

Any words of wisdom and or suggestions?

Thanks,

Kim

I have 2 of the 360's on my 90 gallon and love them. If it were me instead of buying the mounts I would look into a used T5 hybrid for them.

I agree with jekyl, ill be purchasing a t5 hybrid for my 90 as well. Itll give you better coverage long term for growing out sps.
