Don’t have it anymore unfortunately and the photos I did have were of it not completed with the scape. New tank doesn’t have any just regular rock. I had a cool idea of using the thicker pieces as large mangrove roots and tree stumps. I did use driftwood in FW tons of times I have pictures of those…buried somewhere lol.I would love to see your tank. Driftwood is a rare occurrence on the salt side. I love it though.
Bro that is REALLY COOL!Trying PVC on this latest one
Neat idea. Looking forward to seeing how it turns out when things start growing on it.Trying PVC on this latest one
Appreciate it! The fish love swimming under the scapeBro that is REALLY COOL!
Love it, where do I get?Kick rocks: What do you use for aquascaping other than rocks?
Normally when we talk about aquascaping it really means “how do I place the rocks in my tank?” I get it. It is an important foundation for your corals and rocks provide many other benefits, but is there more to the aquascaping conversation? What else have you used for aquascaping in your tank or what have you seen others use? Did it work or was it a fail? Have you thought of an interesting aquascaping idea that you haven’t tried yet? Maybe you have sloped the sand, used frag racks in a creative way, or aquascaped only with corals. Tell us about your experience with aquascaping beyond the rocks and please share any tips that you have!

I also used those two items. One positive side you can build and have cool caves. Down side it takes a lot the cover the crates.Pvc and egg crate for supports for rock or framework for Marco cement.
It reminds me of the encrusting coral you’d see on the guns, rails and superstructure of sunken warships in the South Pacific.Trying PVC on this latest one

Very cool, at first I was thinking oil rigs, because that’s all I see down here in the gulf lol, but your image sounds a lot cooler, appreciate it!It reminds me of the encrusting coral you’d see on the guns, rails and superstructure of sunken warships in the South Pacific.
Thanks for the shout out bro i love my unique frag tank build has racks yes some built into the rockscape using acrylic rod to give almost a floating rack look and also a 2 tier rack system with some adds.... pvc elbow rock structure and a rubble box for thos low flow shrooms still gives it the reef look but allows the function for grow out with highs and lows. Half barebottom and half sand bed. More like a hybrid. This is right up @N1tew0lf1212 's alley! He came up with a great non-standard aquascape that looks and works great!

Diatoms set in gonna grab some more cuc and more copepods. The copepods seem to be doing great in the tank so far helping fight the diatoms down but feel as if introducing some more will be beneficial. Where can i get one of those jellyfish at? LOL I'd like to keep in my qt tank.Oh, these silly rubber jellyfish in my QT tanks. My son wanted them, and they fo keep it interesting to look at when uninhabited, plus I can see the flow pattern and intensity.
