Thanks Steven & Rev! I have a special plan for the DSB. I'll reveal it as soon as I can afford it. :)

garden eels? They will be going into my next system.

Where can you purchase them and how difficult are they to keep??

The only place I've ever seen them was at the Atlanta Aquarium.

Thank you for the kind words everyone. Edwing, I told you I'd put a tank thread up sooner or later. Better late than never right? :D

Pitcome: Ugh, you guessed it lol. Local vendor says he can get them in couple of weeks so we'll see. Hopefully he'll be able to get two different kinds.

I'll take some top down shots of the aquascape but I have placed the rocks so it'll imitate their natural environment as much as possible. Nice large open sandbeds and sporadic rockworks.

Yeah they are great! I am actually creating a garden eel tank out of my refugium for the new system. I have only ever seen the first ones you have picutred for sale in person. The orange banded ones look really nice.

There was a great article on them in coral magazine several months back. I'll check my issues and see if i can find the article.

Thanks Kev, Steve!

Added couple of things tonight. Sea cucumber and 9 sexy shrimps. LFS had a great deal on them and I couldn't pass it up. Good thing about not having any LE frag plugs lying around the sandbed is that I get to concentrate on little things that fascinated me into this hobby in the first place. :D
