So today I broke down my old tank and moved my light, some corals, and a hermit crab over to this one.

Just tested the water to check the cycling progress and the tank looks fine. I’ve had no ammonia reading since starting and was showing Nitrate readings by the 3rd day. This Dr. Tim’s is bomb.

Everything is looking crispy. Corals extended out eating like champs. The leather isn’t liking the strength of my awesome flow so we shall move em to a more suitable locale. The fam and I will be going to the fish store for another fish and some snails this weekend.
Thank you!

Went to my LFS and got a Benghai Cardinal properly named by my son as Oreo as well as 5 Astrea snails. Added 2 GSP frags but got rid of one after I spotted bubble algae on it. Hated to toss it but I don’t have a quarantine tank to treat it in. We out here with no protection praying for the best!

“Cube Me Long Time” has been set up for 16 days now and upon testing water I found that my Nitrate, Nitrite, and Ammonia where higher so time for the first water change. Testing after 20% showed better levels of Nitrate, Nitrite, and 0 Ammonia. I’ll do another 10% in another 3 days. I’ve seen some brown diatoms and a couple of tiny green tufts on the glass. I also posted my lighting schedule which is a modified version of based on BRSTV test using AI Prime for a 25 gallon cube. I feed Mysis daily, Reef Roids once a week, and Reef Energy Plus once a week.

So everything is doing fine except the GSP frag. I guess it’s not happy and doesn’t want to come out anymore. After last water testing everything looking good except it is a little too clean so we moving to a 2 week water change schedule to get these Nitrates up. Got some more corals from Worldwide Corals coming in Thursday so I’ll update y’all then.
