Hey u have a really awesome collection. I was wondering what filtration you're running on it and what the maintenance schedule is like? Looking to start setting up the exact same tank, but I was afraid the stock AIO filtration system isn't good enough. Thanks

Thank you. I use all of the stock media such as filters and pumps. But I replaced the skimmer, the heater, added a chiller, and added several power heads because my tank is on the overstocked side, hahaha.

I replace between 8-12 gal approximately every 3 weeks. I also top of water every 2 or 3 days. I dose 1 tsp of Seachem Reef Buffer per every 2 1/2 gal of freshwater added.

Loving the pink *******. They amaze me with all the subtle colors. On of my favorite chalices in my tank. Seems to look different all the time.

Thank you! Originally mine was not popping too hard nor was it seeming to grow fast. But then I was told part of the trick to keep this guys happy is high lighting. So I moved mine up and within 2 weeks it started popping and had a baby, hahah. I can not wait to have a colony of these! Under blue LEDs they are even more amazing.

Thank you. It is a great chalice. I really like the dark green that develops as a base color in the shadowed parts of the coral.

You're welcome! Enjoy your new Shazaam!

Thanks again! On a side does your accept food? Like actively close around bits of mysis etc? Just tried feeding mine today for the first time and it easily gulped down half a PE mysis!

Yea, I just noticed that mine grabs food from the water column! Also, mine now is a small 3 polyp colony!

Here two pictures that I took with my point and shoot while cleaning the tank yesterday.

This chalice morphs from a dark green with reddish eyes to a metallic blue green with more orange eyes in varied lighting.
