Here is a picture of one of my Acanthophyllia (meat Coral) in my current tank. One my favorites. Love that inner rim.

Beauty!! You need to send photos of that thing to Reef Builders!
What is the price range on something like that? May have to pick up one.

Great Build...following along. Just wanted to add, I'm new and impressed by the community. The fact that several pointed out the possible load bearing 2x6's! Talk about watching each others' back. Just awesome!

Thank you. This one I picked up for 300 which was cheap here as they normally ask 400-500. It wasn't this pretty when I first got it but over 5-6 months it's developed some amazing colors.

The tank is plumbed and lights installed!!!! My drip tray has been delayed but I'm ready to move into this tank. Once it's available I'll slide it under the sump. I use some unions so it won't be to difficult. My plan is to have the tank running Tuesday.

Happy New Year everyone!!! The tank is up and running and starting to settle in. I got the Apex hooked up. Don't judge I haven't done very much cable management I'm still waiting in the trip tray it will be here soon. I'm planning on an Ikea cabinet to organize all my cords and setup a little electronic hub.

Picture update below.

Thanks!!! I had to transfer all my livestock from the old tank. Half of the tank is my old aged rock and the other half is the rock I had in the brute trash cans. Dosing bacteria and monitoring for any spike in parameters. I had a bunch of bubble tips in the old tank and the one left that you see I couldn't get out of the rock so it stayed lol. It's just a nice rainbow morph nothing to fancy. I plan on taking it out when I can.

Working on the tank today. Needed another MP40 and picked up some waterproof stain and sealant paint mixed it with flat black. I do wish I had done this before I setup the tank lol. Oh well.

I do plan on covering the back of the stand with stickers like the R2R one. Anyone I order from for anything if it comes with a sticker it's going up. Should look cool when it's full of them.

Good morning,

I've been absent a little while but I'm here with an update. The Apex is in full swing. Dosing as needed. I absolutely love the Apex dosing system the best one I've used so far personally. It's Extremely easy to setup and calibrate to. The tank is packed full of Coral. Tons of SPS some from close friends and about 20 frags from Frag House Corals. I'm working on some really good photos with my camera. I will post those soon as I get some time. Life has been very busy lately. The fish room is coming along nicely but I still have some work to do on it.

The tank is full of fish and I think I'm done with adding fish. I had a beautiful Golden Rhomboidalis Wrasse but she didn't make it after about 3 weeks in the tank and eating like crazy. I tried two blue spot jawfish those sadly didn't make it. I really wanted a jawfish in this tank but I think I've given up on that for now. Here is my current list of fish.

2x Golden Dwarf Eel
2x Blue Tang
Naso Tang
Lieutenant Tang
Leopard Wrasse
Ornate Leopard Wrasse
Black leopard Wrasse
Blue star leopard Wrasse
Cleaner Wrasse
Ruby red Dragonet
Midas Blenny
