All right after making the decision to do an upgrade transfer on the IM 14 Peninsula I settled on the IM Fusion Pro 25 Lagoon.

This wasnt a full reset but is an upgrade. I dont have the space to cycle a new tank, so I researched other methods of upgrading and what I found was to move all liverock and as much of the water from old tank to new tank and not increase bio load for a while.

As for equipment

IM Nuvo Fusion Pro 25 Lagoon

IM Skimmer (Transferred) [Left Skimmer/Reactor Chamber]

IM media basket [Left Overflow Chamber]

InTank media basket (Transferred) [Right
Overflow Chamber]

JBJ True Temp Digital Controller w/ Titanium Heater 150W [Right Skimmer/Reactor Chamber]

Mightyjet DC return pump 326gph [Return Chamber]

Redsea Reefwave 25 mounted vertical between returns on back wall.

8 lbs of live rock (Transferred)

Approximately 20 lbs of AquaMaxx dry live rock by Marco Rocks

Lifeguard Aquatics big digital thermometer. [Probe in right chamber]

IM Titanium ATO System w/ 5 Gallon reservoir (Transferred)

AI Prime (Transferred)

Testing

Redsea Pro line of test kits
Foundation
Trace Elements
Algae

Marinedepot Refractometer

Dosing

Redsea Additives
Foundation parts a,b,c
Trace Elements
No3x-Po4x
Coral Elements

Water

Premixed from lfs as my water where I live is so bad using an ro system would cost me a fortune in resin cartridges

Top off water is to water that I test for impurities from walmart. So far I've havent got a single batch that was no good. If you have crappy water like me it is a great way to save a few bucks on to water.

Livestock (All Transferred from IM 14)

1 Platinum Clownfish (Lightning)

1 Scarlet legged hermit (Ms. Scarlet)

2 Bumblebee snails

1 Cerith snail

4 - 5 Astrea Starfish

2 - 3 Stomatella snails

1 3 polyp Hulk Acan

1 Red/Orange/Blue Acan (9 - 10 polyps)

1 Superman Monti (Recovering)

1 Blue Digitata Monti

2 Hammer Corals

1 3 polyp nuclear death paly

1 4 polyp purple death paly

1 Radioactive Dragon's Eye zoa (unsure of polyp count)

1 Recovering unknown zoa

1 Red Zed Colony (Recovering)

1 small colony of Metallic Green GSP

Other monti and zoa I will have to remember what they are and update this with their names.
Awesome, like to see pictures.

Yeah i went with 4 independent islands of varying heights. I originally had am arch in the back but it stuck out of the water and blocked the flow off of the water returns.

Alrighty the Maroon clowns are in and settlex into their temporary home for now. Good news they have taken to each other so hopefully when they get older they go ahead and pair. Not the greatest pic. One is an ORA Gold Stripe while the other is an ORA Gold x Lightning

Good to see you noticed and helped addressed some of the aggression. Based on my limited experience with trying to pair clowns up, you can not really tell until they settle in as to how they will behave. I have not yet been able to pair one myself. My last attempt resulted in casualty and to this day hesitant to put clowns I have together after each one has been solo or so long.

I think if they were from a large group from the start would likely will help or have some way to acclimate to each other over long periods to be safe.

Man time flies feels like yesterday I got the clowns in. So update time.

The clowns are settled in and doing well they have accepted each other being members of the tank and hopefully when they get bigger will decide they can truly accept each other.

Cyano is sticking around due to a phosphate spike which I think is because a couple of snails died as soon as they were in the tank. Good news is i've about got the phosphate under control but doing so has bottomed out my nitrates so I think I will order some NeoNitro to get it up.

The best news of all is the coral are happy for the most part and growing. I will post some pics tomorrow.

Thanks all and Merry Christmas!

Your tank is looking more algae free it seems. Good thing. Seems like you are making progress on the algae issue.

You might want to check your water TDS level just incase. It may not show on test kits. I had someone going through similar algae issue on the forum and I asked about checking their water filters and turned out they did not replaced their filters and TDS was extremely high. Anyway something to considered if you have not already.

I have to buy my water from an lfs, no rodi system at the house and havent bothered buying one. Planning on getting one soon as we added a water softner that has helped make our water drinkable. I tested the home water for hardness before the softner and it went over what the test could handle now its 0.

If i had bought an rodi before i would have been replacing filter every couple weeks or so the water was so bad.
