Good deal on some aquarocks for the new tank, put one in here to season it. Some clams added, more to fill in around the clams coming these next couple weeks.

I was on the fence selling this tank, getting low balled for livestock, and had a JBJ 45 to set up when we moved (was in the plans). Didnt end up buying a house, so took down the biocube and split it up between the JBJ 45 and a Nuvo 20 drop off. It was good timing, because the biocube was developing a pretty moderate leak, with marked salt creep daily at the lower rim circumference and a large streak up a rear chamber.
Was able to remove a yellow tail damsel that killed almost every other fish during the transfers, so got some new residents at the time. Nice reef upgrades, the ORA pygmy filefish are an amazing little pair, and their poops are bright neon orange from my pellets or my setosa (dont remember reading that in any reviews). Only coral i have seen them eat though is an ORA cespitularia (still have a small pice survived to the JBJ).
Anyway, using the old maxspect razor nano on the nuvo, and the GHL mitras on the JBJ. I upgraded powerheads for both tanks, both have small wavemakers as well. I used live sand, and live rock, established water, and had a two day bloom of diatoms in the JBJ, no recycle in the nuvo. I moved most higher light inverts to the big tank with mitras, ended up losing my prized maxima clam during the move (the glass is much thicker, its mount's magnet knocked loose, it fell and became injured, i regretfully did not give it close enough attention after injury and it died over the next day). Still have one clam though, going well and healthy.
I purchased some extra live rock from Gulf Live Rock, here in FL, and it has tons of life. Oysters, sponges, anemones, macro, etc. Dont have any good pictures of that good stuff yet, but here are some videos of the "new" (both are used) tanks, with same corals from biocube minus a clam, and some new fish.

Had a heater issue in the JBJ (temp probe pulled out of tank and heater remained on), lost many LPS and a couple fish, but overall i'm pleased with how much survived. Most painful losses so far are that blue maxima and rainbow trachy :(

But the IM drop off is looking great. I have added a couple amazing and adorable ORA blennies to these tanks (kamohara and yellow lined). Also, the tiniest ORA green banded goby to drop off. Will take months until it is big enough to not end up in the filter sock (which it is fine with, i fish it out of there once a week). But, have had it over a month now, so its not running into any issues with the masked gobies or pygmy filefish.

Less words, here are pics and gifs

Well, that purple seabe has killed just about every coral but a few in the drop off tank. Glad i moved the bubble tip over to the 45, wish I had transferred more! But its settling down now, mushrooms seem to be safest with it down there.
The 45 is looking good, some rough recovering after the overheat. But i have added an urchin to hopefully help battle calupera.

Thank you, it hasnt been near any of my fields of calupera that ive observed yet, but its cleaning up my SPS rock on the back wall pretty nice.
That would be Blennifer Lopez, she is an ORA CB yellow lined.

I finally have a growth shot, April through today, always a classic, ORA Red Planet:

Always has been under GHL Mitras in both tanks, but just recently have noticed it really streatching out. I took this as a good sign and rewarded the tank with some additions and mild rescape.

Not great pictures, i just found out i use a blue light filter all the time for my phone screen, so my photos taken with the camera displayed on it may look different/terrible on other devices, noticed when looking at them from my computer, super different.

The female clown was harassing Blennifer Lopez so she was rehomed to the JBJ with Blenny Kravitz. Some disharmony initially, he is much larger, but im working on it and they just may get along, cool. Added a bunch of blen dens, some magnetic aquarocks up high, and one from the LFS i drilled for a zoa garden. All blennys (including the big ember blenny) like to spend time in them, cool.

With adding some corals, i went overbaord and boght some fish too. Havnt added much since the overheat and several losses. I did get a six line wrasse with blemished tail, it diseased and died within a week. Hopefully the rest of the fish make it through, few are showing some itching and blah colors, but i think theyll pull through. Blennys are cute chasing their tails, i have also seen the ember blenny posting up to get cleaned by the shrimp, some cool there.

Anyway, here are some randome update shots (i use post-it notes for light spill, havnt found the right lamp shade yet):

I have found myself literally walking back into this room to watch this little bugger grow, under actinics, i think i have to buy another, is this what an addiction is?

A decent FTS

The right side with new aquarock additions, really have always been all about putting corals on magnets up the walls of tanks, really helps open up the area and allows you to still move a coral arouns.

The new BlenDen which should make a pretty cool zoa garden someday:
