Yes I said Landscape, Carbon Breathers. My approach to Aquascaping & Reefing Is similar, I use the same principles ( power of three ) spacing to allow growth, exposures to the Sun & Wind (flow) and areas ( platforms ) to showcase the summers flowers or in this case, Frags or those special colonies.
Well It's that time of year for me to Plant flowers, vegetables, make upgrades or start a project.
I also make repairs due to winters toll and poor choices in livestock and placement.
If all this sounds familiar or similar it should, after all It's just another ecosystem, the one we inhabit.
So after seeing a few of your Yards and landscapes in the background of your Photos I thought why
not show them off and get some Ideas, for our Reef's of course.

Only landscaping is a pond, a few barns, cows, goats, and loads of fields. Almost forgot the barrel grill that is better than any store night one.

That look so relaxing when I seen it. It looks like some work went into that stone, you got it right. BTW I started smoking venison Jerky on a barrel and that led to love for BBQ and roasted Lamb

Look at all the perennials, I tried to put some between the pines, they dont like the acid although the roses dont mind. Gorgeous!
Thank you. With retirement and a fixed income just around the corner, perennials and self seeding annuals were the way to go.
That is very true. We had some big spruce on the other side of the sidewalk and I struggled to get things to grow. Even the holly next to the bluebird house languished for years until we took the pines out. Then everything began to flourish.

Perfect! with all those tall trees and a large beautiful deck, and room to roam for 2 weimaraners ? I wanted something on the lake or country but the wife wanted sidewalks in a sub for the kids.

At least it looks like you have a good buffer between you and your neighbors :)
