Hello fellow reefers

I have a brand new colony of Green Bay Packer zoanthids which happen to have 2-3 large rhodactis mushrooms growing on them and overtaking them.

My question is that the foot looks to be well encrusted onto the rock how would I go about removing them and attaching them to a different rock? I am thinking about chiseling them off but they take up the majority of the zoanthids rock and I don't want to harm the zoas or the rhodactis.

Any helpful advice would be greatly appreciated :)

If you have some bone cutters you could cut the piece of rock with the mushroom on it

Bone cutters would work , or even better a band saw would zip them right off

When removing/reattaching mushrooms its always easier to get some of the substrate with them . that way you have something to glue down.
