Hello all! I'm going to my first large Aquarium show, Reefapalooza NY. I have a list of coral I want as well as expecting I'll find things I want that I didn't know existed. My question is what is the pricing like for higher end stuff compared to hobby prices?

For example, an OG Bounce is high on my list, but would the price vary from a vendor and hobbyist to the point where it is worth it to buy from the hobbyist? Or is the price difference somewhat negligible?

Also I am very aware a vendors prices in general have to be higher due to the overhead cost being larger than that of hobbyist. I more trying to gage by how much, like would a $300 bounce on R2R sell for closer to $450 from a vendor?

There is no rule. Some hobbyist run small businesses others nearly give away high end stuff so it's more commonly available and build those local relationships. I've seen guys on here trying to sell frags at retail, and loca club selling $150 frags for $30.
