Hells ya I got this.
first step is 25% water change, vacuum sand.
Also going to take whatever rocks I can out of the tank and take care of the Aiptasia. Aiptasia X is like food to them if you treat in tank ime. Also need some berghias and a conch.
We’ll see how that goes.

In my new reefer excitement I have definitely overstocked my tank with coral. Apparently I didn’t expect them to grow?!? Moron ;Facepalm
my Xenia needs to be trimmed again, my frogspawn needs a head taken off, my Anacroporas need to be brutally fragged etc
Problem is I have nowhere to put anything anymore. Already have 2 full frag racks. I guess I need another one.
mans oh ya, not complaining, just shaking my head at my lack of foresight.

I was doing that until last week when I bought a 12-pack. Now I'm happy to switch them out every other day into a bucket with lid and wash them all When I'm on my last set.

They aren't even that expensive. I just need to buy a lot and throw them in the wash. Would save my sanity!

When I bought this tank I bought 2 extra socks so I have 3. They are proprietary waterbox filter socks which is so bush league but whatever.
I change it every 3-4 days. I just run it under hot tap water and squeeze out all the poop then spray it with hydrogen peroxide and put outside to dry. So I always have one in use, one ready to go and one drying out.
it’s a bit of a pain but it works

I will be rebuilding the red sea sump sooner than later. I can't stand the RedSea socks and holders. Hoping that the homie @1ocean will teach me a few things about sweet sump buildin.

Started yesterday afternoon:
Cleaned and scraped all the back chambers
Glass inside and out
Took the frags and frag racks out and h202 ‘d them
Vinegared and scrubbed powerheads and return pump

Gave everyone a break after that to let everything settle down

I swear the fish and coral were saying bad words to me. Lol

just about to start the sand vacuum and water change.
I’m going to leave the rock removal and Aiptasia slaughterhouse until tomorrow. Getting the stink eye again from the clowns ha!
