These are the only things I've added to the tank since startup. I added the Tunze Osmolator 3152 nano ato, 6 or 7 marine pure biospheres to the middle chamber, mesh bag of carbon (1/3 cup) and I replaced the stock return pump with a Sicce Syncra 1.0
The ato is an absolute necessity in my opinion, really keeps the salinity rock solid. I changed the return pump because the stock pump is a p o s and vibrates and hums like a transformer. I just use it to mix salt water now.
The biospheres I figure cant hurt and the carbon does a great job of keeping the water crystal clear.

I considered running a refugium in the back middle chamber, even bought the Tunze eco chic fuge light but can to the conclusion that it would just be more trouble than its worth in such a small area. So if anyone is looking for a brand new never used fuge light ....lol

Don't know what it is (other than an Acro) but it's pretty sweet lookin'
May have to pick it up if the price is ok.

That thing looks insane, you should definitely snag it if the price is good!

I’m useless when it comes to acro ID, lol. Maybe @FarmerTy could ID it?

Ya me too. So many names for the same coral that look different in different tanks.
This one has a lot going on though as far as colours. The lfs that has it is really good but he rarely knows the name of anything lol.
if I get it I’ll name it myself, or maybe have a little name that coral contest ha!!

This guy has some awesome SPS... looks to be all homegrown as well! Have a good trip over there! (And, er, make sure you bring the credit card ;) :D)
He doesn’t always have good stuff. He gets almost all his stock from hobbyists I believe so it’s hit or miss.
And ya the card is packed ;Facepalm
Edit. The thing is I’m only going because I need some reagents…. I should really get that stuff online so I’m not tempted when I get to the store lol

I love lfs that aren't up on all the fancy names and nd trends yet:)
Ya, it's cool in a way. He's a good dude and is really involved in the hobby and the community but apparently just couldn't care less about the names and details. Not even to make a sale.
Anyway, the piece is dipped and in the tank getting comfortable. I'll take a pic in a couple of days when it's settled. It's a good sized chunk taken right from his own colony. I could probably get 4 decent sized frags out of it already.
