I have a tank similar dimensions to yours, with yours being slightly wider and taller, and I don't think the A29 would be the best choice here. I had it on mine for a few months and switched to an AI prime and there was a HUGE difference (I'm actually working on getting a second AI prime to get rid of shadowing). If you actually want to keep an SPS dominant tank, id recommend getting a good light like a radion XR15 or XR30
How do you like the prime? Was actually looking at that and the Kessel A80 since its only zoas and Softies

It's worth the money! From my experience, the A80 is significantly weaker in terms of light output/spread so you will need more than 1 to cover the tank. there is also limited customization for the A80 unless you get the $100 controller on top of the $130 price tag of the light. The AI primes can pretty much grow anything but I would recommend researching what type of light schedule/spectrum/intensity would work best for your needs. It would probably be cheaper to get the AI prime in the long run. (plus resale value for AI primes are pretty good so if you are ever unsatisfied, you can easily sell them)

Officially have saltwater in the tank!! I have had some of the Brightwell Xport cubes hanging in my Biocube for over a month. Added those to the back chamber so I am going to try and catch either my green chromis or my pair of clowns and add them to this tank. When I finally decide on which light I want to add I'll start adding a couple of test zoas.

Well I bought the matching A029 off Amazon. Wife wanted them to match, problem is the new version is way brighter than the old one. Thinking about switching them since the biocube has all the SPS in it. Also decided to catch my clowns out of the biocube and put them in here. Don't think I will add any other fish with them. Also dropped a Ricordea and a frag of Mowhawk Zoas in to add to the biodiversity (been watching a lot of the BRS videos about the biodiversity). Will only be running the lights for 3 hours a day to start. Should be interesting to see what "uglies" I get.

Also not sure whom is more excited about this new tank my daughter or myself haha

Quick update tonight, I am officially in the ugly phase!! Added 3 trochus snails and 2 scarlet leg hermits. They are doing a great job cleaning up!! The corals seems happy especially the zoas they are more open in here than in the biocube. Friday is water change day so I will probably begin moving over a few more zoas and mounting them to the rockwork. Haven't had time to take pictures so that will be for the next update.

Its been a little while since I've updated this thread. Starting to get out of the ugly phase, corals that I added are doing great. Clownfish are happy that they are the only fish in there. However the female is still very protective and will not let me put my hands in the tank. I haven't been testing as I should be but have been busy now that the kids are out of school. Friday the tank will get a large water change and a deep cleaning hopefully that will push it over the hump.

Big cleaning definitely made a difference, tank is looking much better. Went to Aquashella Orlando and ended up getting a few more corals to add in. They are currently on the frag rack in the Biocube and after a few weeks I'll move them over.

Been a little while since I updated, ugly stage is definitely on its way out. Everything is happy and I love the colors I'm getting from the coral. Couple more zoas to move over and place everything in its final spot.
