What size pvc are you using?

1” for the two overflow pipes and 3/4” for the return. I will be hard plumbing the return into my manifold that’s on my current setup

One inch pvc AND a Neptune pump for a 25 gallon, your gonna have like 25 times turnover for the sump alone lol

Not really, it’s DC and the manifold has 4 ball valves so I can dial in whatever flow I want. It’s running my 8g right now with about 65 gph through the display and another 200 gph through the sump via the manifold.

It’s overkill but I wanted it to be tied into my Neptune

The rest of the panels for the stand have been cut to size now I’m sanding them and finishing

There was a little flexibility in the stand originally with the side panels in there is none at all.

I’d love to say it is done but all I’ve done is stain the panels and set them in place.

Things to do
- Lots of coats of polyurethane
- Hardware for the side panels so they can be removed easily
- hinges for the doors
- handles for the doors
- more t-slot to hold the manifold and overflow plumbing

80/20 t-slot is great, after drilling the return hole I realized the center brace was in the way. All I had to do is loosen 4 screw move the brace over and tighten it back down

I finished putting my water station together, I figure with the new tank coming I need to be able to make up more saltwater than 5g at a time.

I ordered some matching internal pumps for each container as I didn’t want to get too fancy with plumbing. I’m going to attach a 1/2” cpvc riser to each of them with a quick disconnect hose so it will be easy to get water from the RODI storage to the SW mixing station and then from the SW storage to my water change containers.

Kessil 360x is mounted (I really like the new controller)

I got a 15g column that will be my fuge and add more water to the system. The overflow from the 8g nano will run into this tank then into the sump (I’m going to drill 2 1” bulkheads for the overflow and emergency drain)

Nice! I'm definitely getting the 360x at some point. I think it will be the perfect light for this setup.

I agree, I was going to put my orphek atlantik over this but I like the look of the kessil over it a lot more. That said I guess my orphek will continue to be the most overkill light ever for a 8g tank, lol.
