Well I have a little aptasia problem so I decided to get some berghia. They come tomorrow so hopefully I will be aptasia free sometime in the future.

berghia are roaming the tanks, I hope they are hungry. One already went after an aptasia so that was good to see.

I've found that reef cleaners peppermint shrimp did the job for me, I hope the berghia work for you! I've always worried about losing them to the MP's with all the flow.

I actually rehomed my peppermints to my frag tank so they didn’t eat the berghia. I haven’t had luck with them for aptasia or emerald crabs for bubble algae. I saw a berghia attacking a large aptasia right after I put them in so I have high hopes. I put a lot in (18 total) so I hope that helps

we’ve had opossit experiences!FWIW, I think reef cleaners guarantees their emerald crabs will eat bubble algae.

Added a pair of the new 200w titanium heaters and a the new BRS controller to my tank. The old heaters were 2yrs old and I figured it was time to replace before they failed.

Berghia work well, I love them. I bought 10 a few months ago, and now there's not one aiptasia I can see. Even threw some in the sump too.
Great to hear, I can’t tell if they are working yet and I’ve only seen them once or twice since I put them in. It’s only been a few weeks and they were pretty small so I have fingers crossed. The aptasia are getting out of hand

that's the perfect situation. You may never really see them. The more you have, it's better for them obviously.

at one point a few years ago, I have THOUSANDS. I had maybe 200+ on a dead efflo skeleton. I but THREE in, along with peppermint shrimp, and maybe 2-3 mos into it, the berghia reproduced and then annihilated the aiptasia.

This go around, I only had a few in the DT and some in the sump, I rarely saw them, but the problem spots I had, they're all gone now

I have 2 displays tied with a sump so I went with 18. I’m pretty sure those annoying little buggers (the aptasia) are going to see their end

My ASD Rainbow Milli is looking really orange (I know it is under a yellow filter but here is my WWC Spearmint Milli frag for comparison)

I haven’t seen my berghia since I put them in the tank and I really couldn’t tell if they were working as the aptasia were still multiplying. Well just now I looked at the aquarium and there was a nice 3/4” one eating an aptasia. I think my battle with aptasia might finally have an answer
