Leaking K-1 Kalk stirrer acrylic cylinder

I recently purchased a K-1 Kalk stirrer. I did a leak test and found out that it has a very slow leak where the cylinder is glued onto the base plate. Is this fixable? Can I get it apart and re-glue it? I didn’t think so being that the plastic is bonded together after its glued? Would I be better off getting a new cylinder or can I repair what I have?

I had the same issue with my k2 stirrer I just siliconed around the base and was all good.

I would contact avast. They have always been very responsive with me.

I’ve heard good things about their customer service. I left an email with Avast yesterday.

Talked with Avast Marine today. They are out of stock on purchasing a new cylinder and base for two months. But they recommended me fixing it myself with Devcon two-part epoxy. Now that I look down inside the cylinder you can see where it wasn’t glued sufficiently.

Reglued the bottom plate with Devcon two part epoxy. Recommended by Avast Drying...

It was hard to get inside the tube. I made sure I filled it in all the way around so it’s one bead.
