my lps corals are bleaching, yet my softies are all doing well. I have a red sea 170 with their Redsea 90LED. I had a 15k 100% blue and 50% white, and now I believe that light intensity must be way to high. I am trying to find people with similar setups and what their blue/white settings are to confirm my potentially high settings?

The rest of my parameters have remained stable - pH8.5, KH 9.5, Phos 0.02, nitrates 5-10, temp 79-80, ca 420, mg 1450

thx

What phosphate test are you using?

How high are the lights mounted? How high up are the lps?

Do you have any powerheads or wavemakers?

Which corals have that bleached? Which have not?

My softies have been more tolerant of higher light and higher flow then my lps (could have a lot to do with my placement though). Try different placement for the lps. Also noticed my lps like spot feeding every now and again.

Using hanna phos checker. My lps are on the bottom to mid areas. Using a redsea gyre, and a aqua nero for some flow at the back of the tank.

All my corals are bleaching except for my mushrooms, zoas, xenia.

What LPS?

Some are easier to keep than others and they don't all like the same flow/lighting.
