LED retrofit kits for nano/pico tanks

Hi all,

After a 15 year absence I'm getting back into the hobby.

I have small tanks that I had back in the day I really liked; an All Glass Aquarium (AGA) 7 gallon and a 5 gallon acrylic. Both bow front. I'm going probably use the 5g as a refugium and keep the mogul socket it currently has.

What I'd like to do is upgrade the 7g hood from a PC light (A.H. Supply for those who might remember them) to LEDs. I'd like to keep the hood on, as it's a nice unit.

Any recommendations appreciated, as I'm not having much luck Googling this.

for a 7 bow I would get a small diy setup from Steve’s LEDs. You would need very few LEDs.

There site showed for a long time that they were 'retooling' and going to offer LEDs.

I miss them too. I got some really nice reflectors from them that I put in the lights I was using for my refugium. One of the PC security lights from Lights of America. Grew a ton of chaeto before but the reflector really kicked it into gear.
