How do these lights compare to the G5 Pros? I was going to buy 2 of the XR30s for a waterbox peninsula 40201

Ok difference is about
1000.00 to 1200.00 depending on which way you go and if you got the special hookup on the xr30.

Xr30 have the cool arm bracket option that the mirage doesnt.

Option 1 is 1 x300 centered over the display sps throughout with some zoa,shrooms,or torch/hammer on the ends for filler. Obviously you could put those throughout the tank also but there will be less par on the 2 sides. Option 2, 2 x200 and high light sps across the entire display, growin from the sand bed to the top.
As for color, my friend put 2 xr15 g5blue over his 100g along with the aquatic life t5 fixture Nd 1 reefbite xho. Our 2 displays are very hard to tell the difference in color looking at them.

But which would provide better growth i have found them to be equal, in growth and color. But both of those are only partially effected by light. Water parameters and flow play a much bigger role.

If your budget allows for an extra 1k+ to be spent on lights you cant go wrong with the g5blue. I would rather spend less on equal par. If id recommend anything, it would be add a orphek or3 reefday bar, for those that prefer a more 65k light spectrum for veiwing.

Maybe you missed my post near the beginning of the thread. But ill explain again
I had the previous gen of ledzeal lights. The malibu s400.
I was in the planning stages of my new 1200gal system, when i was informed they were discontinuing the malibu and making a new light.
I was trying to decide what to do, my options were 16-20 xr30g5 blue, 20 hydra 64hd + reefbars or t5, 20 redsea led90 + reefbars or t5.
Then ledzeal sent me a preview of the x200 and the price.
I researched the hydra hd, the g5blue,kessil and led90 to figure out the led layouts
I ordered a custom layout x200 based off those lights layouts.
That custom layout is the what is now the superblue layout.
Also later this year, ledzeal is planning to release a 4ft x400 .

I moved the 3 i was running over my 6ft 180g to my 8ft 400g and hung a forth one until i can order 4 of the x300 for it. Didnt even raise the settings. Heres 8ft of sps frags growing along the bottom.

Being selective on the stocking. Ive got about 20 fish in qt now, corals are going to on the higher end side.

Sorry jumping in a little late here. Planning a 24x24x20 50g cube was thinking that that X150 would be the best option for a mixed reef with SPS middle to top. Am I thinking correctly or would the X200 be a better light for this?
