So I left my home made frozen food medley out all day and just threw the sloppy mass back into the freezer..is it ok to still use once it frozen? Not sure if bacterial issues effect fish like humans.
Thoughts anyone???

I have had delayed shipments of food that arrived soft and placed back in freezer without issue. Altough I used Styrofoam, in the summer I have stopped at LFS and picked up food, wrapped in newspaper and into styro, and again thawed/soft and no issues.
You should be fine. Now if it were a whole weekend, probably not

Not a doctor or fancy biologist but two I think the USDA rule of thumb is that food left out between temp of 40-140 for over two hours should not be eaten. But that’s a guideline for people — no idea how it translates to fish.

I'd say it depends on how it smelled. I've left food out for 18hrs and it smelled absolutely horrible. I had to toss it. Decaying seafood has a distinctive smell, imo.
