What paint is everyone using on their stands? Would Kilz primer work?

as a primer, yes. Then you will need a top coat.

If you are going to paint the outside of the stand, I would look for a finish that can take water drips such as an oil base paint or clear finish.

For the inside of the stand I would suggest something like the Rustoleum appliance paint, or an epoxy type paint.

Inside the stand, one wants to have a water resistant coating to protect and contain against sump leaks and spills during maintenance.

The outside does not matter as much, since there will not be any standing water or seepage during a leak in the base that could damage the cabinet and what ever is under the stand.

I just used cinder blocks. My 2 reservoirs sit side by side.

I used Kilz on my last would stand and it worked great.

When you speak of extreme temperatures for the RODI unit is it extreme heat and cold? Or just one or the other? I’m in Vegas so winters aren’t terrible but summer can be hot!
