Well, it's not Aiptasia /Majano. It looks like some type of brown star polyp. Perhaps an uncommon hitchiker species. I'd rule out clove polyps because the tentacles are smooth like star polyps, not frilly like cloves. How many tentacles does it have? I'm guessing 8. That would make it Octocorallia. Can you get a clearer shot in white light?

Yup, I'd say star polyp (Stolonifera). I can see the visible stolons of the former colony as well. My only worry is that it could prove very invasive.

If you can keep it on an island rock for now then it may be interesting to see how it grows in time. You may have an uncommon variety. I know a new species, brown in color, was discovered by scientists not long ago. I don't think it's made it into the trade yet.

Nice. Definitely a type of star polyp. One I've never seen. They could grow out to be pretty cool.
