Beautiful.

How are their personalities and are they more of a handful than cats generally?

Here's my NFC rescue:

The chonk is lazy hence being a chonk I suppose lol so he is easy keeper.

Leo is insane... probably best for those who like working border collie personalities. He has a cat wheel and catio to help keep the sanity. He LOVES to play FETCH! He harasses my fish, scratches the acrylic I am sure, transferred ich from my QT to DT, used my t5 light as a swing, is loud when he has something to say, chews up things if something is left out. Forgot my grilling gloves out last night so he put a hole in the finger for me. He chewed up my north face winter coat once (sort of husbands fault technically as I had it in the closet and he took it out to reorganize and didn't return it..).

He is very loving though. Just destructive like how a high energy dog may be. Very trainable but he is a cat so he also doesn't give a crap and will do what he wants when no one is looking and do what he wants when someone is looking too....

He is lucky he is so purrr face lovey boy and cute and soooooooooooft as silk. Perfect litterbox habits thankfully.

He only weights 8 lbs as an adult so tiny compared to a savannah cat...

You wouldn't think something to tiny could be so destructive...

We had to child lock everything for the longest time but he figured out how to open them so we ended up zip tying the cupboard doors shut for a few years...

At least now he quit tossing everything out of them so we leave one empty for him to sleep in...

I didn't know people kept these as pets. I get tons of eastern hognose around my home in the spring eating toads and mice.
They've become very popular as pets over the past 2 years. Especially now with all the different morphs and colors you can get. I'm hoping to get a super conda male to pair with mine someday.

These two are more like friends than pets since I don't have human friends (by choice) other than my Gal. I swear my boy the GSD knows what I'm thinking before I do and he acts accordingly.

PS I'm not much of a cat person but some of the ones in this thread are pretty awesome looking. I never realized how similar to dogs cats can be until my sister became deathly ill and her sphinx wouldn't leave her bed. I always thought they were arrogant and cared about no one but themselves. Prior to her being bed ridden he would even alert her when her blood sugar was low. I was impressed. I wish I had a pic to share.
