DIY Sulfur Denitrator, wouldn't call it ghetto but it was WAY cheaper than buying a fancy acrylic one.

Is that a closet flange that I spy? You don't see those too often in a fish tank... :p

My “controller” haha which is a few power strips mounted on Plywood with garden stakes zip tied for stability, and two cheap timers to run my 350 gallon. Also my cube feeder is the slanted PVC on the right. Drop a few frozen cubes in there and then they slowly drop in front of one of my returns to feed the display.

Diy led pendant and light stand.
That's emt conduit and a stainless mixing utensil container turned pendant.

Next up is my Diy controller.
This is a gutted audio receiver. It holds my diy ato, diy metal halide ballast, 2 led drivers for actinics and my diy ats, my diy temp controller, switch for ato, switch for a diy moon light, and timers for the lights. It was a nightmare to wire but it uses one plug, all the sensor and feed wires have plugs so it is completely removable. Just don't show this to my home owners insurance company. It is not ul listed.....

Your ghetto projects look so nice. Here’s my DIY ATO. I had a styrofoam cooler sitting around so that’s what I used! Put the plastic bag in it just to make sure water wouldn’t permeate through. :D Since it’s styrofoam it just sits on top of the tank, no stand. It actually holds about 3 gallons, so it’s perfect for needing a weekend and then midweek fill up.
