Still debating taking the orphek offline and going with an ati 6x39 or 8x39 watt fixture on a 3x2ftx20in 75 gallon (any recs one vs the other)? I still can't decide if I should take the hit on the orphek and take it down. Maybe if any solid deals over holidays.

Also have a custom lid coming that fits the orphek tank mounts. Would anyone dare to hang the T5 light from.the orphek tank mounting brackets?

Finished the change out tonight. Will need to get used to it. More white than use to but the blanket of intense PAR and spectrum is already worth it. It has helped to eliminatr 90% of the shadowing.

Thanks for your help! Never realized how brown a lot of my corals were. Hopefully with proper spectrum and PAR they will color up.

No FTS, but shamless video plug of my tank. IMO T5s are the best lighting choice for SPS colony health.

Are we bringing this thread back?? Here’s mine- ignore the cyano, have a bad outbreak I can’t beat, but my corals are growing unbelievably fast 6 bulb ati sun power unit with a reefbrite supplement strip
