I just spent a good part of an afternoon just taking macro photos of my corals.
It's neat to see how complex montipora corals are constructed when viewed close up; most people just see them as uninteresting plates of color.

Red M. hodgsoni over a RR Nauti Spiral montipora.

Surface of my Purple Rim montipora; to the naked eye it just looks like sandpaper.

My Yellow Polyp Scroll Coral over a plating red montipora coral.

Green M. hodgsoni.

M. setosa set in front of my Lobophyllia hemprichii.

Can anyone point me in a good direction for a good Iphone lens that isnt just a gel filter. Something that clips on?

I have the same question. I've bought all sorts of clip on macro lens but I have to be right on the coral to take a good shot. I don't trust my iPhone in the water. Lol
