Hi all, I've got a 36" deep peninsular tank that I'm debating lighting on. My plans are for the tank to be LPS dominant with a few SPS.

One of my biggest issues starting out is mounting vs funding. I originally ordered 1 - AI Hydra 32HD with a multiple light mount with the plan to order another Hydra 32 in the future after I get things going.

I'm thinking this may be overkill and maybe 3 Prime's would ultimately be better? The problem is my only real "clean" option for mounting the primes is hanging them from the ceiling and since I can't really afford 3 now, I'd have to tolerate mounting arms in the interim (jeez these are expensive).

Thoughts/advice?

With a deep tank i would lean towards 2 hydras.
The primes wont have the strength for that depth imo
For clarity, the tank dimensions are 36" long x 20" wide x 22" tall. I should have been more specific in the original post.

I've ended up going with 2 ration XR15 pro's due to mounting preferences. I'm going to give these a go since it's not worth the 10% restocking fees to return them.
