Hello, I have a 100g tank with two 32 Hydra lights. I have recently purchased a bubble tip anemone. How long do you recommend to keep lights on and do you have recommendations for the lights schedule, colors… thanks

They like a lot of light... I have a 250g display tank with 4x 24w T5's, 3x 64 hyrdras, and 2x 250w MH.. the nems like the middle and get huge and multiply. I have another tank some amazon no name 100w led .. my nems do fine. but not as crazy. i'd say crank the lights the nems can handle it (lots of blue light). mine are on staggered, but in total about 12 hours.

the smaller tank - ramping 8am -8pm

UV 67%
V 85%
RY 125%
B 60%
G 4%
DR 4%
ML 60%
CW 113%

larger tank - ramping 8am -8pm

UV 40%
V 55%
RY 65%
B 40%
G 5%
DR 5%
CW 7%

but this tank has T5's and MH... so the AI are more for color.

there is little science behind my numbers though.

Thanks for sharing. Do you think the two AI 32 would be sufficient for the tank? Not sure where to get a PAR meter to really tell.

the AI themselves can push enough PAR if properly placed.. but you may not get full tank coverage. they are somewhat narrow beams of intense light (vs T5 or MH). That is why you usually need more... not more the PAR, but for the coverage. If you put the BTA below one, you are likely ok. You can rent a meter from BRS i believe (or see if anyone local will loan you one).
