Hello,
I'm setting up a new cube reef tank that measures 20x20x20 and needed help with some lighting options. Any recommendations? I have one ai 16hd prime already and I am worried that the corals won't get enough light because the arm for the light is 12inches from the light to the top of the tank? Should I buy another ai 16prime or just one ai 32 led light or something else?

I grew a lot of softie, lps and some lower light sps with a hydra 26HD on a 24x24x24. You can keep the prime and add an aquatic life fixture to increase your par output. It all depends on what you want to grow and the aesthetic you want. But a hydra 32 is a great option and will provide lots of light for a mixed reef of that size.

I had a hydra 26 hd on my RSR 170 (2’ x 2’ x 2’). Great light, easy to program, and very effective at growing corals.

I would look to pick a gently used one for a great price.

Well I want to expand my coral collection and i want to make sure any coral can go in my new tank. I heard a lot of people using the hydra 32 and they say it works great like you do. I will look in to that thank you for your help.
