Are you calling the “power brick” the driver I would like to know how many watts it pulls from the wall it claims to be 165w @3w / led has anyone tested what these lights actually pull from the wall ? And another question but when you set these strong leds should I buy a lux meter or any other ideas ?

Basically yes I'd be interested in how many watts/amps the unit pulls. That will give you a true idea on the power of the light.

The light would need to pull 1.4 amps from the outlet to produce the 165 watts it claims, assuming 100% efficiency and 120 volts from the outlet.

I run 2 AI Primes on a 90 gallon planted tank and one on my 25 cube. I am going to be running two on my 40g breeder FOWLR. I already have one of them.

If My axolotls liked lights (which they don’t) I’d have an AI prime as well.

If AI isn’t for you I’m surprised you haven’t suggested kessil.
